Raised along the coast of Northwestern Washington State on Samish and Swinomish land, Alex has long been attuned to the sounds and stories of place. They are invested in the ways that sound and material can help us remember.
They like to play with sound and print materials to tell complex place-based histories and invite new modes of looking and listening.
